Getting more from P6 exam practice

Teaching tips | 29 Aug 2026 | 1 min read

Sitting past papers is useful, but the learning happens in the review.

  1. Practise under timed conditions once a week.
  2. Review every wrong answer and read the model answer.
  3. Note the topic behind each mistake and revisit that topic the next day.
  4. Repeat the missed questions after a few days to check the learning stuck.

Smart School App marks written answers against an answer key and lists weak topics. Teachers should review and confirm each answer key on the Answer keys screen before relying on marks for grades.
