Windows or Android? Choosing devices for Smart School App

Smart School App runs on Windows 10 or 11 and on Android 7.0 or newer, with the same accounts, books and tools.

Windows computers

Best for the head teacher, the school office and the computer lab. Larger screens make timetables, gradebooks and printing easier.

Android phones and tablets

Best for teachers on the move and for learners who continue at home on a family phone. Allow at least 4 GB of free storage because the library is bundled inside the app.

Using both

Most schools use both and let the devices sync over the school Wi-Fi or online through Smart School Cloud.
